The popular MK808B Plus is getting an upgrade. Called the MK808B Pro, the new Android stick gets an upgrade to the quadcore Amlogic S905 whilst keeping the same stick form factor and budget price tag.
The specs are pretty much what you’d expect for a $35 device. There’s 8GB of NAND storage, 1GB RAM, 2.4Ghz WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
Ports are limited, with only a single fullsize USB 2.0 port and a micro USB OTG port available on the unit’s tiny frame. I’d recommend purchasing a USB hub if you’ve got a few peripherals.
The Amlogic S905 is a surprisingly capable SOC from my tests so getting it in such a compact form factor is a plus.
Inside the box, you’ll get the MK808B Pro dongle, a OTG cable, a HDMI cable, a USB cable, a power adapter and a User manual.
Note that there’s no IR remote so you’ll need to pick up a keyboard/mouse or airmouse to get the most out of it.
Use coupon “GBR” to get it for $29.99 from GearBest.
I’ve got one coming so make sure you follow Home Theatre Life to know when the review drops.
