The Zidoo X1 appears to be the second TV box using the Allwinner H3, following the announcement of the Tronsmart Draco H3 earlier this week.

The Allwinner H3 is positioned as a low-cost SoC that is capable of 4K output, in addition to offering 4K HEVC decoding at 30fps and 1080p decoding at 60fps for a wide variety of codecs. Given the chips’ budget price tag, I’m expecting the Zidoo X1 to be very affordable.

Zidoo have also shown excellent after sale support with the Zidoo X9, featuring regular software updates that not only fix bugs, but also add valuable features. This makes Zidoo a company to watch.
