The EACHLINK H6 is a new Android TV box featuring the quadcore Allwinner H6 processor and decent specs for under $60.
In terms of RAM/storage, the EACHLINK H6 is solid, with 3GB of DDR3 RAM, 32GB of eMMc storage onboard (expandable via micro SD card) and Bluetooth 4.1. There’s also 2 high speed USB 3.0 ports for using USB devices like air mice or flash drives.
The Allwinner H6 is also reasonably powerful with support for HDR and H.265 hardware decoding. The unit’s Mali-T720 GPU should also offer good gaming performance in 3D titles.
Connectivity is the unit’s weakest points, with only 2.4GHz b/g/n wifi and 100Mbps Ethernet. This should be fine for 1080p video streaming but certain 4K streams could see some extra buffering thanks to the limited bandwidth.
The box runs Android 7.1.2 which is reasonably recent.
If you’re wanting to check it out, you can grab it from GearBest for $55.99 with free shipping for a limited time.
GearBest are also running a TV box sale featuring discounts on done of their most popular models and quite a few new releases so it might be worth a look as long as you know what to look for in an Android TV box.
