Unique-Looking Lenovo G66 Android TV Box Features RK3288 SoC

Lenovo isn’t a company exactly known for Android TV boxes. However, the Lenovo G66 is an interesting-looking Android TV box from the company sporting the quadcore Rockchip RK3288 processor.

In terms of specifications, it features 16GB of storage, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, Ethernet, dual band wireless AC and Bluetooth 4.1. It runs Android 5.1.1 which isn’t the latest version of Google’s OS but still recent enough to run Kodi.

The Rockchip RK3288 is an older processor but still offers some impressive performance – particularly for gamers. Its quad-core Mali T764 offers solid gaming performance for the price (though not as good as the Nvidia Shield TV).

This is the same processor inside the excellent Ugoos UT3S so it’s worth checking out that review for an idea on the chip’s capabilities.

If you’re wanting to check out the Lenovo G66, it’s currently on sale at GearBest for $64.99 with free shipping for a limited time.
