Unique-Looking Sunvell T95Z Plus Android TV Box Features Amlogic S912 and LED Screen

Sunvell have revealed a new Amlogic S912 Android TV box. Called the Sunvell T95Z Plus, it features a stylish hexagonal design and an LED display for the time and status indicators.

In terms of specs, it’s got 2GB of DDR3 RAM, 16GB of eMMC storage, dual band b/g/n WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, and Bluetooth 4.0.

No word on the launcher that it’ll ship with but the marketing material does mention that it’ll come pre-installed with Kodi 17.0.

I’ve actually been impressed with Sunvell’s designs of late, with the company’s last few Android boxes sporting unique designs rather than the typical black slab we see so often.

Inside the box, you’ll get the Sunvell T95Z Plus Android TV box, IR remote, HDMI cable, power adapter and a user manual.

Where to Buy the Sunvell T95Z Plus

The Sunvell T95Z Plus can be purchased from the following stores for around $70:

  1. Hi Michael, love your site mate, lots of great news and always of interest.

I have the earlier model Sunvell T65M which is my current ‘go to’ android Box. But there is a small problem with the DTS playback. A get a repetitive audio glitch every 8 seconds or so when playing DTS playback via my lower end Yamaha Tuner/Amp. I play the same DTS file back on my Minix and the DTS plays perfectly. Another owner of this box has the same issue.

Has this issue been fixed with the T95Z Plus

    • Firstly, thanks for the awesome feedback!

I’m not sure if the new Sunvell box has the same issue as I haven’t played with one.

That’s the frustrating thing with some of these Android boxes – support can be pretty mixed. Hopefully Sunvell releases a firmware update that fixes your issue.

      • After reading your piece I checked out the Sunvell website and found a contact to them.. So I have forwarded them an email about the minor problem.

I also have a Minix Neo X8-H Plus box. However right no my ‘go to’ box is the Sunvell.

I like the look of this one as well and it does have more Ram and Storage.

There is a freaktab forum as well with discussion on the Sunvell and I have left a query there as well.

        Keep up the good work!
