GOLE GOLE1 is a Windows Mini PC Featuring a 5 inch 720p Display and Battery

The interesting Windows devices keep coming, with the GOLE GOLE1 the latest in an increasing number of devices with interesting form factors.

The GOLE GOLE1 is a dual OS mini PC (Windows 10/Android 5.1) powered by the quadcore Intel X5-Z8300 Cherry Trail processor.

There’s two variants available, one with 2GB of DDR3 and 32GB eMMC storage and another that doubles the RAM and storage to 4GB/64GB.

Interestingly, the marketing material suggests that you can expand the storage by up to 2TB via a magnetic HDD caddy which is an interesting and elegant approach, though I couldn’t find the caddy for sale anywhere.

The screen is a 5-inch 1280×720 pixel capacitive touchscreen that supports 5 points of simultaneous touch.

The rest of the specs are on the high end of Z8300 devices, with dual band wireless AC, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 3.0. There’s also an integrated 2600mAh lithium-ion battery that the company claims should be good for 2 hours of use.

Inside the box, you’ll get the GOLE GOLE1 Mini PC, HDMI cable, power adapter and an English manual.
