Zidoo X7 is Zidoo’s new Android TV Box Featuring the Rockchip RK3328

The Zidoo X7 is the latest Android TV box from the popular electronics company that’s expected to ship at a competitive price of $69.

Powered by Rockchip’s quadcore RK3328 processor, the Zidoo X7 will feature 2GB of DDR3 RAM, 8GB of onboard eMMC storage, USB 3.0wireless AC, 100Mbps Ethernet and Bluetooth 4.1.

It’ll also run Android 7.1 Nougat – the latest version of Google’s Operating System.

Thanks to the Rockchip RK3328, the Zidoo X7 should be able to play 4K@60fps video for both H.264 and H.265 video codecs.

Interestingly, the images I’ve been provided of the Zidoo X7 also show off a new UI that looks very similar to Android TV.

I’m definitely keen to see Zidoo’s new launcher, as their launchers are some of the best looking around in the Android TV box space.

Inside the box, you’ll get the Zidoo X7 Android TV box, power adapter, IR remote, HDMI cable and an English user manual.

There’s no current release date for the Zidoo X7, though expect more information in the coming weeks.
