Zidoo have released new firmware for the Zidoo X9, an Android media player that supports HDMI recording. You can read our review of the Zidoo X9 here.
Firmware v184.108.40.206 sees some important changes, such as being able to continue recording when the HDMI Signal is lost and adding support for 4K 24Hz output:

Zidoo must be commended for their software support, having released regular updates for the Zidoo X9 since its release. If only other manufacturers followed their example.
