Android TV box manufacturer Zidoo make some of the best Android TV boxes. The company has now entered the air mouse arena with the Zidoo V5, a compact remote featuring Wii-style gesture controls, a full QWERTY keyboard and voice functions.

Zidoo have opted for a more traditional remote-style design with the Zidoo V5. The remote features media and navigation keys on the front. A full QWERTY keyboard on the back handles text input.
There’s all standard Android functions like Home and Back, as well as several Zidoo-specific buttons for the company’s Android TV boxes.
Images also suggest there may be IR learning built in, allowing you to learn functions from your other remotes like controlling your TV’s volume.
The air mouse mode allows you to move the remote to move the cursor on the screen like a Wii remote thanks to a set of onboard gyroscopes . This is easier than using a mouse or remote control on Android TV boxes or HTPCs, particularly when using apps not optimized for TV use.
There’s also a built-in microphone with noise cancellation which will presumably be integrated into voice-based apps like Google Assistant.
Connectivity is handled via a wireless USB receiver and an internal rechargeable battery eliminates the need for extra batteries.
