The YUNDOO Y8 is a Android TV box that features Rockchip’s new SoC, the Rockchip RK3399. This chip actually features 6 cores – a dual-core Cortex-A72 and a quad-core Cortex-A53. It’s expected to offer significant performance improvements for general use, though improvements to gaming are uncertain.
The YUNDOO Y8 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features 2GB of DDR3 RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage (depending on the variant chosen), dual band wifi, gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB 3.1.
