New Flagship Zidoo X10 Android TV Box Features Realtek RTD1295 and SATA Bay

Zidoo have teased their newest flagship Android TV box called the Zidoo X10. However, information is sparse at the moment.

The company has revealed that the Zidoo X10 is powered by the quadcore Realtek RTD1295.

It’ll also feature a 3.5″ SATA bay for adding a ”standard” 3.5″ hard drive for additional storage.

Case shots reveal features similar to their current flagship, the Zidoo X9S:

  • 2 USB 2.0 ports
  • A USB 3.0 port
  • Gigabit Ethernet
  • HDMI In
  • HDMI and Composite Video out
  • Optical audio output

There’s also an LED display that shows the time and status indicators.

A small cutout at the back of the case suggests there’s an active cooling fan, which makes sense if you’ve got a 3.5″ HDD installed.

There’s no information which version of Android it’ll ship with, though my guess is Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on Zidoo’s other Realtek RTD1295 devices.

I really like the design of the new device, using a sleek brushed metal design in gunmetal gray. At this stage, I’m going to go out on a limb and say it looks like the best looking Zidoo Android TV box to date.

Keep posted for more info as it becomes available.
