In terms of specifications, it’s nothing we haven’t seen before. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on an octacore Amlogic S912. This allows it to decode 4K 60fps and High Dynamic Range (HDR) videos.
It’s also got 3GB of DDR4 RAM, 16GB/32GB of eMMC storage onboard, dual band Wifi and Bluetooth 4.1.
However, it’s the appearance of the MAGICSEE Iron+ that sets it apart, with a unique triangular design with green (presumably LED) accents. It reminds me of Iron Man’s Arc Reactor.
Interestingly, the company have added mounting slots on the rear of the TV box, allowing you to mount the MAGICSEE Iron+ onto a wall. I’m not sure how many of you would do that but I can’t complain that the option is there.
Inside the box, you’ll get the MAGICSEE Iron+ Android TV box, power adapter, IR remote, HDMI cable and an English user manual.
